- 3 Sony CDP-CDX455 400 disk carousels

- Xantech ZPR 68-10 ir controlled preamplifier
- Xantech PA1235 power amplifier
It is controlled remotely from all rooms via Xantech infrared technology. In addition, it provides a low level feed (satellite radio and cd collection) to the music room main system, office, and master suite. The satellite tuner provides background music for the closed circuit television system.

The office system consists of a small Yamaha system consisting of:
- fm tuner/preamplifier/amplifier
- dual cassette deck player/recorder
- cd player
- B & W Matrix 805 Speakers
It also receives the low level feed from the whole house audio system.

- fm tuner
- Yamaha KX-W921 cassette recorder
- Pioneer PD-M40 cd player
- NAD 1240 preamplifier
- Rotel RB-990BX amplifier
- AR speakers

We listen to serious music, popularly known as classical. We have over 1000 compact disks and several thousand vinyl recordings collected over the years both by us and Larry's folks, Lou and Mollie Rappaport. The collection includes most operas as well as jazz and folk music.
